Everything we have and everything we are is a gift from God. Our call to Stewardship encourages us to share our GIFTEDNESS–with no strings attached and no conditions. We share these gifts out of our love for God and gratitude to Him. What is the right amount to give? When you are at peace about the size of your gift - when you do not find yourself making excuses for its size (either too big or too small) and you know in your heart that you have been completely honest with yourself and God - then your gift is the proper size. While God gives it all, it is your faithful cooperation with His gifts that enables us to do so much, from our service to the poor and most vulnerable, to formation and enrichment of our communal prayer & worship.

Memorial Donations

Memorial donations are a wonderful way to honor the memory of loved one by supporting our parish or our school. For a memorial donation to St. James Church or School, the gift should be sent directly to the parish office. Please be sure to include a letter or note indicating the individual you wish to remember and whether or not you would like the family to be notified of your gift.

Remember St. James Catholic Church in your will or estate plans

Planned giving allows for your generosity and support of St. James Catholic Church to continue when you are no longer here. For people of faith, estate and financial planning is a key component of stewardship. Charitable bequests can be structured in many ways and are deductible for estate tax purposes. For information on a planned investment, please contact Parish Manager, Sharon Hollkamp, at 451-1420, ext. 10, or shollkamp@stjameslou.org
