• We are placing information on Facebook. Both St. Brigid
and St. James have an “official” page and a group page —
four different Facebook pages — and we will post on all
four pages. We welcome questions and comments on the
Facebook pages. If you have relatives or friends who are
isolated, you might suggest that they join Facebook for
the time being — just to keep the connection.
• We are using a new program called Evangelus which is
made by Diocesan, the company that produces our bulletin,
as well as myParish App. Through Evangelus, we can
send a weekly email newsletter updating you on Mass
times, online giving links, and other new programs like
the Circle of Prayer. To receive messages through Evangelus,
send your email address firstname.lastname@example.org.
You will receive an invitation to
register where you can choose email or text messages.
• If you have a smartphone, download the myParish app by
texting the word app to 88202. You can also get it free
from the app store for your IOS or Android device.

serve you. Is there some kind of action we at St Brigid or
St. James could take that would be helpful to you? Call

From Fr. Gary Padgett, Pastor: I am very pleased to announce that St. Brigid will RE-OPEN with two weekend Masses -- beginning the weekend of June 27/28. We will celebrate the 5:00 pm Saturday and 10:15 am. Sunday liturgies at St. Brigid for the first time since mid-March. All the "Healthy at Worship" Guidelines established by the Archdiocese will be in effect. We will be having the church professionally cleaned on Saturdays and Mondays, and a team of volunteers will also clean between the weekend liturgies. For details of the guidelines, please see the message below this one.
We are working on acquiring live-streaming equipment for St. Brigid, but for the time being, the only streamed and archived Masses will be those from St. James at 8:00 am and 11:00 am.
Because of Covid-19, we will not have daily Masses for public attendance. Anyone can still access the live-streamed and archived daily Masses from St. James through the internet, Facebook, and YouTube.
Confessions remain by appointment only. Call 502.645-8863.
Please pass the word to friends and family, inviting them to return to St. Brigid!!
